Karen Martinez

My journey began when my parents migrated to Australia in the year 2000 as permanent residents through the General Skilled Migration (GSM) program. Growing up in Australia, I completed all my schooling here and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business from Western Sydney University and a Postgraduate Degree in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Victoria.

I started my career as an education consultant, which sparked my interest in helping others achieve their goals through education and migration. I later joined the Department of Home Affairs, where I spent several years working in the family visa space. This role gave me invaluable insight into the Australian immigration system from within the Australian Public Service (APS), strengthening my understanding of immigration policies and procedures.

In 2017, after completing my postgraduate studies, I became a Registered Migration Agent. Over the years, I had the privilege of working with one of Australia’s largest migration firms: Newland Chase and CIBT, where I gained a wealth of experience assisting individuals, families, and businesses with complex visa matters.

In 2024, I founded Future Bound Migration with the vision of delivering a personalized, client-focused service. Drawing on my own migration journey, extensive professional experience, and a deep understanding of the system, I am passionate about guiding others to achieve their Australian dream with confidence and clarity.
